Hold'em Down Kennels

Hold'em Down Kennels is small kennel located in Southeast Texas! We specialize in quality and not quanity! therefore pups are not always available! We do not breed for size or color! WE only breed to preserve the APBT in its original form! We DO NOT take part in or support any illegal activities but we do celebrate the history of the breed! The kennel is owned and operated by Wendy Hough! All dogs are D.R.A or A.D.B.A registered and some are both!

I have been around pitbulls for 20 yrs now! and have been raising them myself for 6 yrs! All pups get played with daily and my dogs do not just sit in a kennel or on the end of a chain all day they are in and out of my house and ride in the car to town with me! Thy are constantly socialized! and get to play in the big pen with each other! but only supervised play is done! because anything is possible! My 2 yr old is amongst all of my dogs all the time if he can't be around them they will not be on my yard!

Occasionally i do have recues come in and i place them in homes as well! All of my dogs go to BUBBLES AND BOWS for a monthly grooming or nail trimming! and soon i will be starting on a carreer of showing and weight pulling a couple of my dogs! so look back for updated news on them!

I do NOT allow anyone at my home because of some unfortunate events on some other breeders! My families safety is more important than anything! So for yours and my own safety i bring my pups and parents for viewing or sales to a local public place! I hope everyone understands!
